Master data scope

This agreement covers all enterprise master data managed through the DataSync platform, including customer, product, supplier, and employee records synchronized across connected systems.

Data governance ownership

The client retains full ownership of all master data. DataSync provides governance tools and policy enforcement mechanisms, but does not assume responsibility for data accuracy originating from external source systems.

Service level definitions

Platform availability is measured on a monthly basis excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Data synchronization latency targets are defined per integration profile and documented in the service appendix.

Compliance and regulatory alignment

Governance module templates support GDPR, CCPA, and SOX frameworks. Clients are responsible for configuring policies to match their specific regulatory obligations and for verifying compliance outputs.

Third-party data sources

Data ingested from third-party systems is subject to the accuracy and timeliness of those sources. DataSync performs validation checks but cannot guarantee data quality originating outside the platform.

Master Data Capabilities

Practical tools to synchronize, govern, and improve business information across distributed systems.

How master data sync works

From initial request to ongoing governance — a structured pipeline for enterprise data consistency.

01

Request intake

Business units submit a data change or new entity request through a standardized form. The system validates mandatory fields and routes the request to the appropriate data steward.

02

Profiling & validation

Automated profiling checks the incoming data against existing master records. Duplicates, format mismatches, and missing attributes are flagged before any merge or update is attempted.

03

Steward review

A designated data steward reviews the flagged items, resolves conflicts, and approves or rejects the request. All actions are logged with timestamps and user identity for audit compliance.

04

Sync & publish

Approved changes are pushed to the central master data hub and propagated to connected ERP, CRM, and reporting systems. The platform verifies successful delivery and logs any sync failures.

05

Monitor & govern

Ongoing monitoring dashboards track data quality scores, policy violations, and sync latency. Alerts are triggered when thresholds are breached, enabling proactive remediation.
